How did you get started with bodybuilding?

I ran Varsity Track & Field in high school and when I graduated, I really didn’t have any sports I was involved in. I gained some weight after I graduated because I was making unhealthy food choices and wasn’t active. I was introduced to the gym by a friend and he gave me a brutal workout that actually cried after!

I kept going to the gym with him because I wanted to lose weight but once I started seeing muscles develop, I was addicted to lifting!

How do you stay so motivated? What drives you?

I am a very competitive person when it comes to sports and fitness. Lifting and working out is my get away and releases stress for me. Having fans who tell me that I inspire them, is something that motivates me as well.

I seriously love meeting my fans and hearing their journeys. It inspires me to continue my journey.

What is your training routine like?

  • Sunday: Hiit/abs
  • Monday: Heavy upper body
  • Tuesday: Heavy lower body
  • Wednesday: Hiit/abs
  • Thursday: Hypertrophy back & arms
  • Friday: Hypertrophy legs
  • Saturday: Hypertrophy shoulders & chest/hiit

If you had to choose only 3 exercises, what would they be and why?

Squats, deadlifts and side lateral raises. I love all three exercises! Love lifting heavy and challenging myself with squats and deadlifts. I love shoulder day in general but side lateral raises are definitely my favorite.

What is your favourite form of cardio?

I perform hiit cardio (high intensity interval training). It is a great way to burn fat and continue to burn fat after you’re done performing it. It pushes your limits!

What is your diet like?

I like to fuel my body with whole foods. They keep me full and fuel my workouts. If I want or crave something, I follow flexible dieting and will fit it into my macros. That way, I can still have something in moderation while sticking to my macros.

What supplements do you use?

I love using Neon Sport and Cellucor products. All the flavors of their products are seriously amazing. I make sure to have my Neon Sport Kinetic bcaa’s during and after my workouts.

I also take fish oil, a multivitamin, vitamin c and L-carnitine.

What are the highlights of your fitness career?

I won my Wbff Fitness Pro card in 2013, was signed as a Neon Sport sponsored athlete and have had many opportunities to work with Bodybuilding.com. I would have to say that meeting my fans is a huge highlight in my career.
