How did you get started with bodybuilding/fitness?
I really got into fitness when I met my fiance who has really pushed and helped me get to where I am today. I used to be into fashion modelling when we met but found myself a whole new passion for fitness while we grew stronger as a couple.
How do you stay so motivated? What drives you?
As I have a large social media following a lot of girls tell me that they are motivated by me, that I help them push and change their bodies, but really they motivate me just as much as I do them. I am driven to help people and make them a better version of themselves.
What drives me is to be the best possible version of myself, keep changing and staying healthy.
What is your training routine like?
My training routine is legs and booty 3 times a week, arms back and shoulders 3 times a week as well as some HIIT training.
If you had to choose only 3 exercises, what would they be and why?
If I had to choose three exercises only they would be squats, dead lifts and pull ups. These three exercises make up a very well rounded compound movements to stay in shape. I love doing all three but also love a lot of other exercises as well that are meant for targeting many different areas. These three help with strength in a lot of other aspects.
What is your favourite form of cardio?
I would say that my favorite form of cardio would have to be HIIT, I love my sprints and intense training.
What is your diet like?
My diet varies depending on if I’m working on building or if I am going to a shoot. I do a lot of flexible dieting as well as carb cycling.
What supplements do you use?
There are a lot of different supplements that I use at different times of the year. I wont get into brand names as I am currently in between companies. I love my casein protein for morning and nights, whey for a post workout shake, fat burners to curve my appetite and burn off excess fat. I have vitapacks, pre workout and BCAA’s all of which I use on a daily basis.
What are the highlights of your fitness career?
Currently my biggest highlight would be the starting of my company caitlinricefit.com which is finally about to launch. I have been working at building my own fitness company this last year and have helped thousands of women and men change their perspectives on being healthy and wanting to change their own lives.
I currently don’t compete in contests. It’s not something that I feel the need to do right now. I am happy helping others and concentrating on that.
