How did you get started with bodybuilding?
I started bodybuilding at the age of 18, my idols were Arnold Schwarzenegger, Dorian Yates and Ronnie Coleman. I was reading all the magazines about bodybuilding at that time since there was no internet. I always wanted to look like them. To be more than normal…
What keeps you motivated?
The thing that keeps me motivated is the sport itself! Actually it’s not a sport it’s a lifestyle. It’s 24/7. I always want to be a better me and keep moving forward.
What is your current workout routine?
Currently I train 5 times a week.
- Monday: Lower back and hamstrings
- Tuesday: Upper back and shoulders
- Wednesday: Arms and calves
- Thursday: Quads
- Friday: Chest and calves
I train abs every three days.
If you had to choose only 3 exercises, what would they be and why?
Squat - deadlift - bench press end of story!
Competition history:
That’s a big list! I have 29 competitions in my resume so far! The most important are: 2012 I won the world championship in Italy, Padua. 2010 I won the European championship and won the Greek nationals 3 times in 2006, 2012, 2016.
What is your favourite form of cardio?
I don’t have any favorite form of cardio. Sometimes HIIT, sometimes just brisk walking, depends on how I feel and if I am close to a competition.
What is your diet like?
My diet is always clean all year round but it’s only very strict near to a show. Rest of the year it’s clean but I have dairy and fruits and more that many bodybuilders consider forbidden. I adjust my macros and the ratio of protein, carbs and fat with my sponsor called FLEXEAT. They are my nutrition coaches.
What supplements do you use?
Protein, bcaa, glutamine, creatine, probiotics, greens, multivitamins.
