How did you get started with bodybuilding?
Got started at the age of 21 when I first signed up to a local gym.
What keeps you motivated?
I also get motivated by my competitors which helps me obtain the best of myself.
What is your current workout routine?
- Day 1: Legs, calves
- Day 2: Chest, triceps, abs
- Day 3: Back, biceps, forearms
- Day 4: Shoulders, traps, abs
If you had to choose only 3 exercises, what would they be and why?
Deadlifts, squats and bench press because they work a lot of muscle groups and have a great metabolic response.
Competition history:
Did a total of 16 shows including my last one which I won the overall pro show (Musclemania Las Vegas 2014).
What is your favourite form of cardio?
Must be the stairmaster 🙂
What is your diet like?
I eat few carbs and carb up once in a while. Always high protein and high veggies.
What supplements do you use?
I use a lot of Blue Star Nutraceuticals supplements (found at samueldixonfitness.com).
I mainly stick with isolate protein, multivitamins, omega 3 and glutamine.
What are your future goals?
Own my gym (which I do) and keep winning my title.
