How did you get started with bodybuilding?

Back when I lived in Japan, I saw an upcoming bodybuilding show down in the Tokyo area. Since I was already leaning out for my second photo shoot ever, I joked with my close friend, Kayla, about doing that show. Later that day my friend not only posted but tagged me on Facebook that I was going to represent Misawa Air Base down at the Yokota Air Base Bodybuilding show!

So I took the dive and not only placed 2nd in figure but found one of my passions in the fitness industry.

How do you stay so motivated? What drives you?

Part of my motivation derives from my past. I always remember those who doubted and put me down, specifically those I thought would’ve been my supporters. The other part of my motivation is the fact that I love the process of both losing, learning from that, then kicking ass both on stage and in life!

What is your training routine like?

I just recently started with Showtime Fitness in Alamogordo, New Mexico to build up and cut down for my PNBA pro figure debut in the spring of 2018.

Currently, they have my schedule as follows…

  • Monday: Quads/Glutes/Calves
  • Tuesday: Chest/Shoulders
  • Wednesday: Biceps/Triceps
  • Thursday: Back
  • Friday: Hamstrings/Glutes/Calves
  • Saturday: Off
  • Sunday: Off

If you had to choose only 3 exercises, what would they be and why?

Since I started off as a powerlifter and made the foundation of my physique off of powerlifting… I’d say barbell bench press, squats, and deadlifts.

What is your favourite form of cardio?

Eating pizza as fast as I can! On a serious note, I’m not very fond of cardio, BUT if I have to do cardio it’d be HIIT on the stair climber. I swear it’s like a natural butt lift for me within doing a couple sessions of it!

What is your diet like?

Again, I just started with Showtime Fitness, so all I can say is that I pretty much eat a serving of carbs (oatmeal, Ezekiel bread, brown rice, or etc) with each meal except the last meal is casein based.

5 meals with some kind of protein filled food for each meal and of course veggies!

What supplements do you use?

  • GNC Women’s multivitamins (1 serving)
  • Vitamin C gummies (2-3 servings)
  • Niacin (2x per day)
  • Fish oil (2x per day)

What are the highlights of your fitness career?

Well, earning my pro card and qualifying to compete in the PNBA Figure category is a big one! Also, multiple magazine publications, one being a cover, and soon another cover publication for a very well known women’s fitness magazine.
