Were there any unique challenges or circumstances that made your transformation particularly difficult?

For me I had 4 surgeries go wrong in a week, since then I’ve had heart failure, kidney failure, and liver failure. But the toughest part is the fact that I am missing almost my entire digestive system and I am anemic, so putting on mass and keeping it is particularly difficult in my case.

What motivates you to keep going and push harder?

I was lucky to have lived through all the surgeries that didn’t go well, and I realized I really haven’t done much of what I wanted to accomplish in my life. So I push myself to reach as many goals as I can while I still can because life can end so suddenly.

What is your next goal?

I would like to compete in Classic Physique in the NPC.

What is your training routine like?

Normally it is 5 days on 2 off. It’s usually leg day, chest and triceps, back and biceps, shoulders and triceps. On the fifth day I use it as a free day, most of the time I use it as an arm day haha.

If you had to choose only 3 exercises, what would they be and why?

Of course I would start out with bench because, well I’m a guy, all guys love benching.
Next I would say bent over concentration curls, I really like the contraction I feel with these, I feel both the pump and contraction much better doing these since it is a dead hang rather than the conventional concentration curl.
Then lastly I would say quad extensions, mainly because I feel much more stable and secure than pretty much any other type of leg work out, therefore I feel a little more safe to either up the weight to bust out a few extra reps.

What is your favourite form of cardio?

None! Haha for me I really like wind sprints. I like being able to use my strength and as an added bonus I love just getting my cardio over with as quickly as I can.

What is your diet like?

Ever since my surgeries, mine usually is around 4,000-6,000 calories when I’m cutting with roughly 25% protein, 50% fats and 25% carbs. And for bulking anything above 8,000. There has been quite a few times I’ve gotten to about 16,000 calories! I don’t really absorb more than about 1/4 of the food I consume so I can get away with a dirty bulk. So I don’t really keep track of my macros when I bulk.

What supplements do you use?

I have been loving all of Performix’s products lately. But mainly their Cherry Lime Slush preworkout, the Fruity Charms protein powder, and their Watermelon BCAA’s.

What is your favourite quote?

Never be ashamed of a scar. It simply means you were stronger than whatever tried to hurt you.
